Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic joined elite company after amassing 150 points, 50 rebounds, and 50 assists in his first six games of the regular season, joining Oscar Robertson, Russell Westbrook, John Havlicek, and LeBron James as the only other four NBA players to ever accomplish such a feat, according to Jason Kubatko of StatMuse.

Robertson, who mustered the feat four times, and Westbrook, who has done it twice, are two of the most prominent names when the word triple-double comes around.

Doncic has put up two huge triple-doubles — first in an overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers and most recently in a blowout win against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The second-year talisman has put up a triple-double in three of the Mavs' six games and is averaging a studly 16.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 9.5 assists on the season, leading Dallas to a 4-2 record to start the season.

The reigning Rookie of the Year showed signs of being a threat for years to come, but he has quickly evolved into a Swiss army knife this season, showing his coaches and teammates that he's ready to handle the load he'll have to take on to put the Mavericks in playoff contention.

Doncic's huge triple-double numbers are only part of what the Mavericks are doing right, after pairing their prized star with another highly-versatile forward in Kristaps Porzingis. While their partnership has yet to fully blossom, their skill sets are highly compatible and well suited for each other, as they take on a slew of dynamic duos formed in the Western Conference.
