Most players would just dribble off the court and into the locker room to prepare for an upcoming matchup. However, most players aren't Dallas Mavericks superstar point guard Luka Doncic. The brilliant young scorer has wowed Mavs fans and NBA observers in his brief and brilliant career, but past instances of dazzling athletic feats still don't prepare onlookers for the next great trick he can pull off.

While Doncic putting his soccer skills on full display isn't anything new, the Mavericks standout took things to an entirely new level on Monday evening ahead of Dallas' looming matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. Not only did Doncic flawlessly use seemingly every body part to volley the basketball perfectly into his hands, but then he promptly drained a 40-foot shot before heading back into the locker room area.

Oh, and Luka Doncic also shot the basketball over the top of the backboard from behind the hoop…

Entering play on Monday evening against the aforementioned 76ers, who are currently tied for first place in the Eastern Conference alongside the absolutely stacked Brooklyn Nets, the Mavericks will be sporting a 29-23 record of their own thanks to Luka Doncic and his signature scoring prowess.

As it stands today, the Mavericks and Luka Doncic sit in seventh place in the always competitive Western Conference with Dallas 1.5 games behind the sixth place Portland Trail Blazers. Dallas has won six of its last 10 games heading into its early week showdown against the 76ers, which has helped the Mavericks stretch its lead to 2.5 games over the No. 8 seeded Memphis Grizzlies.

The 22-year-old Luka Doncic is currently averaging a whopping 28.5 points per game to coincide with his 8.7 assists, 8.1 rebounds and one steal per outing as well. Coming as no surprise, the superstar signal caller has also started all 47 of his regular season appearances for the Mavericks thus far into the 2020-21 NBA campaign, with 20 games left to go.
