Luka Doncic is a young player. It's easy to forget, but the Dallas Mavericks star is still just 23 years old. He's got a lot of gas left in his proverbial tank left. Still, though, fans and the organization would want him to take it easy on his body at times.
For that reason, Mavs fans are understandably a bit concerned about their star's next moves. After playing in the FIBA Europe qualifiers, Luka Doncic is scheduled to appear for Team Slovenia in Quai 54. Quai 54 is one of the largest streetball events in the world, held in Paris, France. The cost of being an NBA player is that you usually have to sacrifice most, if not all, of your other athletic endeavors. Teams don't appreciate it when their players put themselves in unnecessary risk playing in a different sport or league. Players often have to fight tooth and nail to be cleared to play for their international teams.
Luka Doncic has already toed the line by suiting up for Team Slovenia in the FIBA Europe qualifiers. Ideally, Mark Cuban and the team would like for Doncic to heal up and rest ahead of the 2022 season. It seems, though, that the superstar has other ideas in mind.
To be fair, it hasn't been explicitly announced that Doncic will be playing in Quai 54. For all we know, he could just be making an appearance in the event. Still, though, there will be a significant portion of the fanbase that will be worried for their star's health during this tournament.
