Although Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki has not officially announced his retirement from the NBA, the Mavs legend continues to get ample fan support in opposing arenas that he may be visiting for the last time.
Friday night versus the Orlando Magic was no different, as the home crowd gave Dirk a standing O when he checked in off the bench during the first quarter:

It's quite possible that the cheers spurred him on, as Nowitzki tied his season high with 15 points across just 19 minutes, shooting 6-for-11 from the floor overall while adding in five rebounds.
Article Continues BelowIf this is in fact Nowitzki's last run in the league, he's emptying the tank down the stretch — now having hoisted double-digit shot attempts in six of his last seven contests.
For his career, Nowitzki has averaged 20.9 points per game versus the Magic, meeting up with the Eastern Conference foes only on a regular-season basis. Regardless of the career dominance, Orlando fans still took the time to recognize a future Hall of Famer in what potentially could be his last time in the building.
Dallas has eight road games remaining this season, meaning Nowitzki's parade of cheers from opposing fans is dwindling. The year will end in the state of Texas, just not at home, as his potential final regular-season game is set for April 10 against the San Antonio Spurs — fitting due to the fact he has faced his intrastate rivals more times (76) than any other opponent.
As for the Magic, they're now likely free from Nowitzki-related dominance.
