Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic tried his hand at the bottle flip challenge during the overtime frame of Sunday's 135-133 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Doncic is not the only player to have a go at flipping water bottles on the sidelines during games. Other great players have tried it with varying success, including LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. Doncic, however, seemed to struggle with the tricky toss. In fact, the Slovenian-born star failed four times before handing his beverage off to an assistant on the bench.

See for yourself:

Bottle flip or not, Luka Doncic was a beast in Sunday's game. His step-back triple at the buzzer in overtime capped off an impressive performance. In his 46 minutes of action, he racked up a whopping 43 points, 17 rebounds, 13 assists, two steals and one block. He went 18-of-31 from the field and 4-of-10 from beyond the arc.

“We know this kid has got a flair for the dramatic,” Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said of Luka Doncic's game-winning shot, via ESPN. “He's a guy that lives for these moments.”

Doncic was actually a game-time decision on Sunday due to an ankle injury that he sustained in Game 3. Still, he managed to pour it on in a big way in a truly “special” performance:

“One of the best feelings I've ever had as a player,” Doncic said of the game-winner, via ESPN. “Just something special.”

Luka Doncic and the Mavs will be back in action on Tuesday night. Tip-off for Game 5 is set for 9:00 p.m. ET, with TNT having live broadcast coverage. Currently, the series is tied at two games apiece.
