Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons figured that all Shaqtin' A Fool has on him these days are failed stepback jumpers so the big man submitted his entry on what he's usually good at – throwing it down.
In what could have been the highlight of the game, Drummond was able to steal the ball by reading the passing lanes en route to a wide-open dunk, only for the 25-year-old to flub the tomahawk attempt.

Fortunately for him, teammate Thon Maker was around to clean it up – albeit in an incoherent manner that would have been a Shaqtin' candidate itself had they not retained possession. The 6-foot-11 center found humor in the situation nonetheless and joined the New York Knicks crowd in laughing at the act.
It also helps that the Pistons are back in the postseason again for the first time since 2016. Drummond and guard Reggie Jackson were the only holdovers from that iteration that was swept by LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. With James out of the picture and now flanked by All-Star Blake Griffin and reigning Coach of the Year Dwane Casey, there's a strong chance they might perform better this year although their first-round opponent is still a major factor.
Drummond is having yet another banner year with Detroit, posting career-best averages of 17.3 points and 1.7 steals, along with his formidable 15.6 rebounds and 1.8 rejections per night. The Pistons hope that they'll see more of his dominant contributions and less bricked stepbacks or blown dunks.
