After their loss to the Utah Jazz, Patrick Beverley of the LA Clippers opened his post-game interview to offer his prayers to Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Stephen Curry who broke his hand in their game against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.
Pat Beverley started his postgame availabitly with a comment on Steph Curry’s injury: “First off, I wanna say prayer’s up to Steph, man. I heard he broke his hand today. Been my brother since college. So prayer’s up to him.”

Beverley also flocked to his personal Twitter account after to send his well-wishes to Curry:

This was a surprising turn for the Clippers' fiery point guard after earlier in the week boasting to the Warriors superstar that the next five years will belong to his team.
As for Curry, he suffered the injury in the third quarter of their game against the Suns. As Curry when up for the driving layup, Suns big man Aron Baynes was right there waiting for a charge. As they collided, Curry flipped headfirst to the ground. While he was successful in using both of his hands to catch his fall, Baynes — all 260 lbs of him — landed on Curry's left wrist which caused the injury.

Curry headed to the locker room grimacing in pain. He didn't return to shoot his free throws and was therefore ruled out. He finished with nine points and six assists in 21 minutes of action.
In the end, the Warriors lost 121-110. Curry's injury is a huge blow to the Warriors' who are already reeling this early in the season.
