SAN FRANCISCO — The second round's most competitive, hard-fought series shifted in a major way on Saturday, with the Golden State Warriors defeating the Memphis Grizzlies by a whopping 30 points. The Dubs shot 63.1% overall in their rousing 142-112 victory, the second-highest field goal percentage in a playoff game in franchise history.

Draymond Green had a game-high eight assists, giving him a front-row set to much of the Warriors' offensive dominance. After the game, the three-time champion named two things that were responsible for the blowout.

“It was a matter of not turning the ball over,” Green told ClutchPoints. “We turned the ball over a lot in the first half, 14 turnovers. Three turnovers in the second half. We've always believed that we're a very good shooting team, but if you're not getting looks at the rim, it doesn't matter.”

The Warriors also shot over 50 percent from deep in the win. Chase Center home cooking no doubt played a role in Golden State's stellar jump-shooting, but Green offered another one on the postgame podium.

“Then getting good looks,” Green said. “I think tonight we found great shots. We didn't just go for good shots. We found great shots, and they went in.”

The Warriors' 142 points are the most they've scored in a playoff game since 1967. It was an awesome performance for Green and his troops, but they know the Grizzlies are going to do whatever they can to get a win in the next game.

Game 4 is on Monday. It’s a must-win for the Grizzlies, but the Warriors will look at it the same way. A win would put Golden State in a position to end the series in Memphis, with a date in the Conference Finals awaiting.
