Sacrifices are going to have to be made with Kevin Durant arriving in Oakland.

But Warriors players don't want those sacrifices to be Durant shooting the ball less.

The four-time scoring champion is already hearing it from his teammates when he's playing too unselfishly during practices. Simply put, his teammates want him to be who he is. And a career 19.1 shots per game average means KD is a shooter above all else.

“Yeah, I shot a lot today, and Draymond (Green) told me I wasn't aggressive enough,” Durant told reporters.

This is typical Durant behavior overpassing as he tries to fit in. He's done similar things in the past when playing for Team USA, or in All-Star games. At the end of the day, Durant is his best self when he's shooting the rock.

It's definitely a unique situation with KD joining a team with Stephen Curry, last year's league leading scorer, and Klay Thompson, one of the most prolific 3-point shooters in NBA history. Their resumes aren't matched by many, but Durant is one player who is capable of just as much as either of them.

While Durant and Thompson are best when looking to shoot, Curry and Draymond Green can be equally as effective when distributing for others.

Either way, it's a good problem to have in Golden State when you have to ask Kevin Durant to shoot more.
