Kevin Durant‘s departure from the Oklahoma City Thunder blew the NBA away last Fourth of July in the 2016 NBA free agency, signing a two-year deal with the Golden State Warriors. The big move involved moving around old key contributors for the Warriors such as Andrew Bogut and Harrison Barnes, and from what we've seen this playoff season, it seems the switch worked out.

When KD was asked about how effective he will be in replacing the likes of Barnes in the NBA finals, he was confident to say the least. The eight-time NBA All-Star answered Jacob C. Palmer's question with a rhetorical question himself.

When you take a look at both Kevin Durant's and Harrison Barnes' resumes, you can clearly see who has the statistical advantage. Durant hold bolstering averages of 27.2 points over 703 games and is 48.8% from the field, while Barnes has averaged 11.9 points and is 45.3% from the field, respectable numbers, but not quite like KD. Additionally, Durant is much more efficient at the free throw line, averaging a monstrous 88.2% over his career compared to Barnes' 77.6%.

Of course, you would have to take into account that Barnes just recently received an increased role with the Dallas Mavericks and has helped lead the team in shooting, but Durant has always been known to be an offensive powerhouse, even in his Seattle Supersonic days.
