Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant participated in practice Sunday and still has a chance to play in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors on Monday. If Durant does suit up, Warriors point guard Stephen Curry believes his superstar teammate will make an impact no matter what:

Durant has been out for the last month because of a calf injury suffered in the second round against the Houston Rockets. There was some hope that Durant would return earlier in the NBA Finals, but he has remained out, which has reportedly caused some frustration in the organization.

Golden State has missed Durant's presence against Toronto. The Warriors' normally prolific offense has sputtered against the Raptors' physical defense, and not having that release valve Durant provides in half-court situations has been a problem.

Just having Durant out there would likely help Golden State, but it's fair to wonder just how effective he may be. Missing a month and then being dropped into the NBA Finals against a superstar like Kawhi Leonard is tough, and Durant almost certainly won't be able to handle his normal minutes load if he plays.

Durant averaged 34.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 39.1 minutes per game before he went down with his calf injury. The Warriors are down 3-1 against the Raptors and need a miracle. Perhaps KD can provide that miracle.
