Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green has been out with a back injury but could return to the court very soon. After ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Green could be back playing in seven to 10 days, Warriors coach Steve Kerr gave an update before Monday's game against the Denver Nuggets.

“We don't have a set date,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “But I got a report today that he got another rehab session in on the court. He's feeling a lot better and coming along, but still no target date.”

The last time Green stepped on a court for a game was January 9, when Klay Thompson returned from his two-year layoff. But it was only a ceremonial game for Green as he wanted to be present in the starting unit with Thompson. The All-Star forward immediately went to the bench after the tipoff.

The Warriors only have 18 games left in the regular season, and they can use Green more than ever. The team is struggling to end the campaign on a positive note and has lost eight of the last 10 games. His toughness and leadership could be what the Warriors need to turn things around.

There hasn't been a game this season that the Warriors have been fully staffed. James Wiseman hasn't played a single game and Andre Iguodala has spent most of his season on the sideline.

The Warriors have lost four straight games for the first time this season, and it's going to be tough not to drop a fifth straight game against the Nuggets. They are without Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Andrew Wiggins.

Jordan Poole, Moses Moody, Damion Lee, Juan Toscano-Anderson, and Kevon Looney are the starters.
