Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond was asked to choose his ideal pickup player, and the big man had very little hesitation to point out the man for the job — Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant.
“He’s very fun to watch and play with… I think he’s very unguardable,” Drummond said in a quick interview with TMZ Sports. “He's 7-feet and handles the ball very well, shoots the ball lights-out, so it makes it very hard for people to contest his shots.”
Drummond was examining a picture of Durant alongside some of the NBA's best in a recent pickup run in Los Angeles that included LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard and others — singling him out as the most versatile player to give nightmares in a pickup game.

Durant re-wrote the meaning of what it meant to be a lanky small forward, now viewed as a very capable ball-handler with the ability to score, rebound, and create for others — recently adding a shot-blocking presence to his already deep arsenal of tools. The Warriors are good because of that.
Given his prowess in the last two NBA Finals and with two Finals MVP trophies to back it up, Durant is clearly the most dangerous weapon with the ball in his hands; but if that wasn't enough, his many runs at Dyckman and Rucker Park speak for themselves, as he's known to take no prisoners when it comes to the offseason, often leaving opponents helpless in his wake.
