Andrew Bogut is expected to join the Golden State Warriors sometime on their four-game trip next week, according to Mark Medina of the San Jose Mercury News.

Bogut and the Golden State Warriors are in the process of finalizing a one-year contract for the veteran's minimum after receiving a letter of clearance from Australia and the NBA.

The 7-footer is expected to sign his contract later this week and hold a press conference with his soon-to-be former team, the Sydney Kings of Australia’s National Basketball League sometime on Wednesday evening.

While it hasn't been officially determined when the 33-year-old will join the Warriors, it seems he will join the team during their upcoming trip that will take the team to Houston, Oklahoma City, San Antonio and Minnesota — making his debut possible between March 13-19.

Bogut will have to acquire a work visa once again, putting him in the position to decide whether to get his documents shipped to a U.S. consulate in Sydney or fly to Oakland on a tourist visa. If he chooses the latter, the 7-footer would have a chance to meet with the Warriors before flying to Vancouver to acquire a U.S. work visa.

The Warriors have been interested in a reunion with Bogut “for a while” now and the mutual interest comes at the precise right time, as the team has struggled to fully click as they were before the All-Star break.

Golden State will have plenty of space and practice time to work with Bogut this month, as they only have two back-to-backs in March. Bogut could have from 13 to 17 games of action to click with this roster before hitting the postseason.
