Andrew Bogut is back in the NBA, and it's with the team where he experienced his most success: the Golden State Warriors.
Bogut signed with the Warriors on Wednesday, marking his return to the franchise that traded him to make room for Kevin Durant during the summer of 2016.
The 34-year-old told Marc Stein of The New York Times that he is “pumped and excited” that the Warriors wanted him and that it was “basically Golden State or nothing” when deciding whom he wanted to play for.
The Philadelphia 76ers had also reportedly expressed interest in the big man.
Bogut originally arrived in the Bay Area in March 2012 when he was traded from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Warriors in a deal that sent Monta Ellis to Milwaukee.
While Bogut's time with the Warriors was blemished a bit by injuries, he had a spectacular run with the team that included helping lead the franchise to a championship during the 2014-15 campaign.

That season, Bogut averaged 6.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 blocks over 23.6 minutes per game while shooting 56.3 percent from the floor and 52.4 percent from the free-throw line.
The Aussie, who played his collegiate basketball at the University of Utah, was originally selected by the Bucks with the first overall pick of the 2005 NBA Draft.
Bogut had a solid seven-year run in Milwaukee, averaging double-doubles in three straight seasons at one point, but his inability to stay healthy led the Bucks to trade him to the Warriors.
He owns career averages of 9.8 points and 8.7 boards night.
