Andrew Wiggins did not only win the NBA title with the Golden State Warriors this season, but he also pocketed a cool $31.2 million in salary. He's set for an even bigger payday in 2022-23, with his current deal set at $33.6 million for the upcoming season.

Wiggins, however, will be entering the final year of his contract next season. At this point, the Warriors will need to offer him an extension unless they want to run the risk of letting the All-Star forward walk away as a free agent next summer.

For his part, Wiggins admits that he would love to run it back with the Warriors for a few more years. After all, why wouldn't he, after winning a championship with such a solid group.

“Man, I would love to be here,” Wiggins told Logan Murdock of The Ringer. “It’s been nothing but blessings for me here, so that’s something that I would love.”

When asked about how much money it would take for him to sign on the dotted line, Wiggins refused to give anything away in his response:

“I don’t know,” he said with a sheepish grin. “My agents take care of all that.”

That's pretty honest, I guess. Then again, I'm sure that Wiggins and his agents have a number in mind. Based on what we've seen from him this past season, that number certainly won't be a small one. We'll see if the Warriors pay up.
