On Saturday, the Golden State Warriors defeated the L.A. Clippers 121-105. The highlight of the night was Stephen Curry's dynamic performance, scoring a season-high 45 points to go along eight 3-pointers, much to Steve Kerr's delight.
As a result, the Clippers quickly proved that they had no answer for the superstar point guard, who shot 50 percent from downtown. However, if there was one person who wanted to throw in the towel, it was a Clippers fan by the name of Clipper Darell.
According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, this Clippers fan was tired of seeing Curry scorch his home team, so he asked the Warriors' coach to pull Curry out of the game.

At the end of the third quarter, Steve Kerr happily obliged with the fan and rested Stephen Curry for the rest of the game. It did little to sway the tides, since the Warriors ended up winning by double digits anyway. However, the Clippers did outscore the Warriors 29-18 in the fourth quarter. Maybe the fan did his team a favor by somehow convincing the Warriors head coach to sit Curry down to give his team some hope of winning. All in all, this isn't the first time that Curry has come up big against the Clippers.
Last season, Stephen Curry blitzed the Clippers for 43 points, while casually launching 35-foot 3-pointers as if they were commonplace. In fact, Curry has been having an incredible season, averaging 27.1 points, 6.4 assists, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game, placing him in the MVP conversation.
