DeMarcus Cousins was one of the many “victims” of the sneaky Guillermo, as part of an NBA Finals media availability tradition from Jimmy Kimmel's show. The Golden State Warriors center signed a card for the wise-cracking character meant for LeBron James, a “wish you were here” message trolling his first time in 14 years missing the playoffs and first in nine missing the NBA Finals.
The Warriors saw James in their last four trips to the NBA Finals and will be playing an opponent other than the Cleveland Cavaliers for the first time when they face the Toronto Raptors on Thursday:

The gag quickly went viral, appearing in several outlets, only for Cousins to clarify it was part of a playful interview for the show:
Aye miss me with the bullshit. The signed card was part of a playful Jimmy Kimmel interview. To try to make a story out of that is just flat out reaching at this point. Nothing but respect for LBJ. 🙏🏿 @ESPNMichele @BleacherReport have a little more honor in your work 🤡 🤡

Guillermo had his fun with more than just Cousins, taking (and missing) multiple shots during a light shootaround session at the practice facility as well as taking shots of maple syrup with OG Anunoby and Norman Powell:

Guillermo had his most fun with Alfonzo McKinnie, first asking him what he'll miss the most about Kevin Durant and later torturing him by purposely confusing the pursuit of a three-peat for one of a threesome.

All in all, the NBA Finals between the Warriors and Raptors should be one hell of a show, and if the pregame antics are any indication, one of the most fun to watch — even if LeBron James is watching from his couch.
