DeMarcus Cousins put out his best scoring effort since taking the floor with the Golden State Warriors earlier this month, putting up 22 points in 25 minutes in a 132-100 romp against the Indiana Pacers on Monday.
The big man shot a crisp 7-of-12 from the floor, made 1-of-2 from deep and poured in seven of his points from the foul line — showing flashes of that same dominance that made him an All-Star player last season. Cousins is posting 15.2 points and 7.0 rebounds in five games since returning from a season-ending Achilles injury, and by no means surprised by his prowess on the court.

You put a team full of high IQs together, it’s kind of easy to get on the same page and play the right way. It’s a good feel, a good situation. Not to say it’s perfect, but it’s working out smoother and easier, I guess you could say, than a lot of people expected.”
Cousins has not only showed that he's a capable scorer and a load on the block, but also a willing passer from the post, assisting in three or more baskets in each of his five appearances with the team.
Needless to say, Boogie has adjusted more than well to his new team and seems to be rounding into playoff shape quickly, yet slowly gearing into more and more minutes as the season goes along.
