Draymond Green isn't ever afraid to speak his mind. That's exactly why the Golden State Warriors star is so often invited to guest star on shows like Inside the NBA. After all, controversy breeds entertaining television.

The Warriors' former Defensive Player of the Year was tasked to break down how exactly the Memphis Grizzlies were attacking Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert on the defensive end. Kenny Smith, however, hilariously claimed there might be some conflict of interest going on, as both Gobert and Green were angling for the DPOY plum this season. Check out the clip below:

Green thoroughly explained how they were taking advantage of Gobert's lack of lateral quickness on the perimeter, making him an easy target on defensive switches. It's not clear if the Warriors star chose to highlight this topic or was simply given an assignment to break down on live television. If it's the latter, then you can't blame Draymond Green one bit. But if it's the former, then it might be a sly move on his part.

In all seriousness though, the votes for the awards are already in and Green's tirade has literally zero effect on the voting process. But trying to influence public perception is indeed another story. For all we know, the Warriors star could be playing the long game for next season.
