Draymond Green is one of the keys to success for the Golden State Warriors. This has been true for the last four years. Luckily, during this time Green has not had to deal with many injury issues. He has played in 70 or more games in every season since the Warriors won their first title in 2015.

Green is currently dealing with some soreness in his knee that caused him to miss practice on Tuesday. When asked if he thinks this injury will linger, Steve Kerr didn't offer much.

Obviously, it's concerning to hear a player is dealing with knee issues in camp, but there are no indications that this is anything all that serious yet. It's best to let Green take his time and come back when he feels the knee is 100 percent. The Warriors have the luxury of being able to take things slow out of the gate.

They have too much talent to worry too much about the regular season. As long as they enter the playoffs somewhat healthy, they'll be the favorite to win their third straight title.

Additionally, Green's knees have not plagued him during his career. He has a history with shoulder and back problems. Had he felt any soreness there, it could be more cause for concern.

In all likelihood, this is a case where Green and the Warriors are being overly cautious. There's no reason to play through soreness when they are staring down the barrel of an 82-game season and a deep playoff run. Now is not the time to panic, but it is smart to take things slowly.
