An always energized Draymond Green took the chance to school some students in the art of trash talk during a Champs Sports ad, detailing one of his most recent back-and-forth battle with recently-retired Paul Pierce.

Green reminisced about how it all happened, not only on a nationally televised game, but also in the very first minute of action, as Pierce yelled incessantly from the bench, claiming Green couldn't guard Blake Griffin.

The Golden State Warriors forward had gotten in his defensive stance, preventing Griffin from backing him down, until he spun, pump faked and caught Green jumping, immediately drawing the foul.

Pierce kept on mouthing off, inciting a response from the Defensive Player of the Year.

“Bro, you still chasing that farewell tour?” Green recalled telling Pierce. “You still chasing that farewell tour, they don't love you like that. You're not Kobe. Hell naw, you're not Kobe, stop chasing that.”

“You had a great career, but everybody ain't got Kobe love. That's a different type of thing, man. You had a great career but they don't love you like that. Stop chasing that.”

Green's famously vicious shot at a future Hall of Famer was one of the most-played soundbites in this past NBA season, but it surely doesn't get old to hear it again from someone who's made trash-talking a vitally innate part of his game to this day.
