Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has dealt with some nagging injuries in the past, and he doesn't think his latest knee issue is anything serious.
Green missed the Warriors' preseason game in Seattle due to knee soreness, with latest reports citing that he's still cautious of the injury. However, he told Mark Medina of The Mercury News that he doesn't envision the issue as something long-term.
“My shoulder’s way better and a lot better. It’s really good,” Green said. “Everything else is good and under control. Obviously that [knee] popped up, but I don’t see it being a problem long term.”
It's hard to call a player overlooked when he is a two-time All-Star, two-time All-NBA team member, and a former Defensive Player of the Year, but that's exactly what Green is. His health has never been a major concern for him, and this latest statement proves just that.

Steve Kerr and his staff won't want to push Draymond too hard in the preseason. There's no need for it. They know exactly who they are and where they are at, and staying healthy is the most important thing for them right now.
