It's important to find a good mentor once you're in the NBA. Fortunately for Golden State Warriors rookie Moses Moody, he didn't have to look far.

The 19-year-old has found perhaps the best mentor in the league in Draymond Green. The two share more than being teammates. They also the same agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports.

Moody is learning from his All-Star teammate daily. Green knows he's making an impact on his younger teammate, but he might not be aware of how much he's influencing the rookie.

“I personally try to be around Draymond as much as possible,” Moody told ClutchPoints. “There's only so much you can tell somebody… Just hanging around him and seeing how he interact and talk to other people. Just watching things that he does. I feel like that's the best way for me to learn from him.”

The one-time Defensive Player of the Year winner isn't the only player Moody shadows. He does the same with superstars Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson.

“It's the same thing with the other guys,” Moody said. “Hanging around and paying attention rather than asking questions all the time. You don't want to be annoying. So I'd rather just learn with observation”

After seeing his performance Thursday against Dallas, you can tell one thing Moody is learning from Green and his other veteran teammates is how to be a professional. He didn't play most of the game, but when his number was called in the final quarter Moody scored 13 points and nearly helped steal a victory.

Moody is expected to play more heading forward, and his next opportunity will be against the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James.
