Thursday night, the Denver Nuggets did everything they could to win a game in this series. However, Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors had other plans. It was a hard-fought game in which the Warriors came out on top. They took a 3-0 lead, and now they're going for the first-round sweep.
The big 3 of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Jordan Poole torched the Nuggets all series, but the Most Valuable Player might be Green. With 30 seconds left in the game and having 5 fouls, Green proved why that theory could be correct. He got a huge stop against Nikola Jokic while guarding 1-on-1. He could have fouled out on the play but Green decided to risk it all, and he made the right choice.
“I don't want to catch that fifth too early,” Warriors veteran Draymond Green told ClutchPoints. “But once I picked up the fifth, I mean, I'm going against Joker, I have to be willing to use all six of my fouls at some point in the game.”
Jokic scored a game-high 37 points to go with 18 rebounds and 5 assists. Everything he wanted he pretty much got it, except on one of the biggest moments of the night.

“If I get one down the stretch and I foul out with two minutes to go, I gave it all I had, but I can't start playing timid because I picked up a fifth foul,” the Warriors vet said. “He's (Jokic) tough enough to guard if I'm giving everything I got, so I just got to go with it and hope for the best.”
Next, the Warriors will participate in their first closeout game of the postseason. It will be in Denver and it can be their first sweep of the postseason.
