The Golden State Warriors have been favored over the field for the whole season, but with the injuries, they have suffered that has now changed.

The biggest issue for the Warriors right now is the injuries they have suffered, especially with Stephen Curry who is expected to be out for the first round of the playoffs.

“There's no way he's playing in the first round,” Kerr said to ESPN. “There's no way. I mean, he'll be re-evaluated in three weeks. So, yeah, we have to be ready to play without him and see how he's coming along.”

Curry's date for his reevaluation is on April 14 which is three days after the regular season ends. Even if he is cleared that day he would still probably have to go through a few practices and get in game shape to be ready to play again.

Curry hopes that he can play in the first round though:

“Hopefully, I prove what coach said was wrong and put myself in position to get back as soon as possible,” Curry told CBS Sports.  “But right now, who knows? Just try to do my job in the rehab process and get back as soon as I can.”

If the season ended today the Warriors would play the Utah Jazz in an opening round series which would be a tough matchup with Curry and will be even tougher without.

Even if they are able to get out of that series without Curry chances are it would go at least five or six games which could hurt them later in the playoffs.
