The Golden State Warriors are in a funk. The Warriors have now dropped four of the last five games, and they are not looking like the team they have been for much of the season. After Tuesday's ugly loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, backup guard Gary Payton II spoke to the media about what needs to change for the Dubs to get back on track.

“We just got a lot of different lineups, and we just got to work with those lineups and learn how to play through each other with the different personnel on the court,” Payton II told ClutchPoints. “That's about it. We just need to find our feel back to where we were at during the beginning of the season. I know it's hard without Draymond (Green) and (Andre Iguodala), but we got to step up and turn it around.”
The Warriors gave up a season-high 129 points in Tuesday's loss in Minnesota. For most of the season, the Warriors have been the best team defensively in the NBA, and that's the main reason they have had the second-best record in the league. However, that has slipped in a big way of late.

A week ago, the Warriors were still talking about their chances of catching the Phoenix Suns to take over the No. 1 seed. Now they could be in jeopardy of losing the second-best spot. There was a pretty big gap between them and the third-place Memphis Grizzlies, but now there is only a half-game difference.
The Dubs’ struggles are concerning, but it still isn't a reason to panic. They are expected to get Green, Iguodala, and James Wiseman back before the season is over. Green and Iguodala especially will play a key role in getting this thing back on track for a championship run.
