The Golden State Warriors became just the second team in NBA history to have three different player score 50 points in one season.

The Warriors joined the Lakers' trio thanks to Kevin Durant's 51-point effort in their 131-128 loss against the Toronto Raptors. Durant was sizzling from the field at a 58.1 percent clip. It also marked his third-straight game at least 40 points — the first time it has happened in the Warriors superstar's career.

The other 50-point performance belongs to Stephen Curry when he scored 51 points on October 24 in their win over the Washington Wizards, where he shot 11-of-16 from downtown.

The other belongs to Klay Thompson when he dropped 52 points on October 29 in their win over the Chicago Bulls. This was the game when he made 14 three-pointers and claimed the NBA record (previously held by Curry) for most makes from downtown in one game.

It's no surprise that the Warriors have forged their way into the history books with such a record. Curry, Durant, and Thompson are three of the best offensive talents that the league has ever seen — and they're playing for one team. Given this, they are expected to carry the offensive chores for the Warriors throughout the season and potentially into June.
