The Golden State Warriors are in a tough spot. Once thought of as the favorite in this year's NBA Finals, the Warriors find themselves down 2-1 to the Boston Celtics. With another game in Boston on the horizon, the Warriors have to figure things out quick.

Head coach Steve Kerr's solution? Take a day off.

Per ESPN's Kendra Andrews, Kerr said Thursday's practice would be no such thing. Only players on low minutes would be getting shots up. More battered players, like Stephen Curry, will just be treated.

This likely comes as good news for Curry, who took a scary bump from Al Horford, injuring his foot. Curry spoke out about the incident, saying he would test his foot for Friday. No official word has been made about his status for Game 4.

Curry, who's averaged 31.3 points across the three games played in the Finals thus far, probably won't be affected by missing a day of practice. The Warriors are well-versed in the art of winning championships. key pieces of the championship roster from years past as well as their young rising players set them up to stay competitive in the Finals.

The Warriors have a tough task ahead of them, but in the NBA Finals, teams have prepared as much as possible. Kerr is trusting that the extra day of practice isn't necessary to keep the team afloat.
