Golden State Warriors superstar Klay Thompson had an NBA record of 14 3-pointers against the Chicago Bulls. Turns out, when Thompson goes nuts, it definitely helps your fantasy basketball team.
Infinitely glad I drafted @KlayThompson for fantasy. pic.twitter.com/6jDtqeLC4n

If you somehow forgot to put Thompson in your starting fantasy lineup's today, well, you might be in a bad mood after looking at this.
Article Continues BelowI also have Thompson on my fantasy team and in the lineup and he helped me greatly.
Thompson finally broke out of his shooting slump against the Bulls. In total, he had 52 points (18/29 from the field, 14/24 from three), five rebounds and one steal. Basically, Thompson shot 62.1 percent from the field and 58.3 percent from three point range.
These numbers that Thompson put up against the Bulls is just some serious NBA 2K numbers, especially the field goal percentage and three point percentage. Not many players can put those type of field goal numbers up in an actual game.
Well, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Thompson can. Those are the only three guys I could see doing that in an actual game consistently and Thompson did that against the Bulls.
For fantasy basketball owners who have Thompson, like myself, make sure you put him in your lineups because you can see what type of damage he does in a fantasy game as well.
The next couple of games could be difficult for Thompson to put up these type of numbers as the Warriors face the New Orleans Pelicans and the Minnesota Timberwolves the next two games.
However, you never know. Thompson could erupt again.
