The Golden State Warriors are off to a hot start, but Klay Thompson is struggling. Golden State has won five of its first six games without one of their most potent scorers producing. Thompson is only averaging 14.7 points per game and he's shooting an abysmal 12.9 percent from behind the arc.

This isn't the Klay Thompson we all know and love, but his head coach, Steve Kerr believes he'll find his game sooner or later. He just thinks that as the team continues to get in a groove, Klay will follow.

“It’s going to happen,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said to Mark Medina of Mercury New Group.” It’s a matter of finding our groove as a team. That usually helps Klay. I think searching for great shots — not just Klay, helps all of us.”

Thompson is often overshadowed to some degree because he plays alongside Stephen Curry — the best shooter in the history of the NBA. But Thompson is going to find himself among the all-time great shooters when his career is over. Thompson is a career 41.9 percent three-point shooter so expect his shooting to return to normal eventually.

Luckily for Steve Kerr and his squad, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry are taking turns at putting on ridiculous scoring performances. The Warriors can survive through Klay's current shooting slump. In fact, they've barely skipped a beat without his usual production.

They will be an even more dangerous opponent when Klay figures out what's going on with his shot.
