Draymond Green has made a name for himself as one of the most vocal figures in the NBA today. Love it or hate it, the fact remains that Green's voice on and off the court has been key for the Golden State Warriors‘ success over the past few years. The three-time NBA champion has been known to be constantly in the ears of his teammates, and rookie big man James Wiseman is well aware of this.

The incoming rookie is poised for heavy minutes in his first season with the Dubs, and he more than welcomes Green's tutelage as he tries to become the player the Warriors need him to be.

Green and Wiseman weren't able to join the team's training camp immediately due to COVID-19 protocol, but now that they're both officially back with the team, Wiseman's crash course to the NBA under Green's mentorship is in full swing.

When asked if he was already on the receiving end of one of Green's rather loud lessons, Wiseman had this to say:

“Oh yeah, today,” James Wiseman said of Warriors teammate Draymond Green (via NBC Sports). “I already went through that, so I already know what to expect. But I like that. I like challenges. I love that. That's just constructive criticism. He's just telling me stuff so I can improve my game. I don't look at it as being in my feelings or being sympathetic or nothing. I actually like that.”

Wiseman's thick skin will definitely be a positive facet of his game that'll get Warriors fans excited. As he embarks on this new journey in his basketball career, look for the 19-year-old to be a sponge for knowledge as he grows into his role as one of the pivotal members of Golden State's front court for years to come.
