The Golden State Warriors were severely shorthanded going into Tuesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. There was no Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, and more. This was a game many didn't think the Warriors could win but they did behind teamwork and a game-winning shot from Jordan Poole.
During the postgame interviews, rookie Jonathan Kuminga shared his thoughts when he saw Poole rise to shoot that last shot.
“He works hard every single day and I knew that was his time, that was his moment,” the Warriors first-rounder told ClutchPoints. “I knew he was going to make it. He missed the first one and great players won't miss the second one.”

The Dubs were down 17 points in the fourth quarter and as a group, they clawed their way back into the game to set up Poole's game-winner. It took a collective effort to get the win and it included big performances from multiple players. Damion Lee put up 21 points, Moses Moody added 20, and 19 were scored by Kuminga.
The star of the game had one of the most complete performances of his young Warriors career. Poole registered a game-high 31 points, six rebounds, five assists, and a shot that sucked the life out of the Spurs arena. The Warriors won 124-120, and it was all smiles after the game.
The win extended Golden State's winning streak to seven games, and on Thursday they will face the Sacramento Kings as they try to make it eight straight. Curry and Thompson should play, but if not, Poole and company will be ready for the challenge.
