Jordan Poole may still be a rookie, but the Golden State Warriors guard is already brimming with confidence. In fact, he has so much confidence that he even asked Zendaya on a double date with Klay Thompson and Laura Harrier!

On Instagram, Harrier posted a photo with Warriors superstar Klay Thompson. The two have been dating for some time now, and in response, Zendaya commented on the post with a heart and a weary face emoji.

Interestingly, Poole saw the comment and decided to shoot his shot. The 20-year-old Michigan Wolverines product jokingly replied, asking if Zendaya will be interested in a double date.

While Poole tosses out a few “crying laughing” emojis to make it seem mirthful, one would not be surprised if that was a legitimate request from the Warriors rook.

Zendaya is coming off of a hot streak of the most recent Spider-Man film (Spider-Man: Far From Home) as well as a serious dramatic turn in HBO’s series called Euphoria.

Poole, for his part, was a crucial part of a Michigan team that made it to the NCAA Championship game in 2018, although they lost to the Villanova Wildcats. Despite that, Poole acquitted himself well throughout the tournament, even hitting a tremendous buzzer-beater against the Houston Cougars earlier in the competition.

Clearly, Poole is not concerned about “shooting his shot,” whether it’s in Instagram  or in high-stakes games of basketball. You know what they say: shooters shoot.
