For some players, it's just another trip to the postseason, and to others, it's their first time experiencing the big stage. Golden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole is one of the newbies who have never been to the playoffs. A dream of playing on the world's most competitive stage is about to happen.
The playoffs can be very intimidating, and it is sometimes overwhelming to first-timers. Saturday, Poole will discover what the playoffs are all about and how he handles the pressure. One comforting factor he will come into the game with is the home crowd at the Chase Center.
“It's awesome,” Poole told ClutchPoints. “I think as the youngin knowing how big home-court advantage is and being able to play in front of the best fans in the league. They haven't seen the playoffs for two years. I think they got some stored-up energy that they're willing to get out. So I'm excited about that.”

His Warriors teammates said Poole is the youngster that is always asking them about the playoffs. Whenever curiosity about the postseason comes across his mind, he never hesitates to ask. He's a student of the game and takes full advantage of learning from some all-time great players.

The third-year guard is all about winning, and he understands his job is to help Stephen Curry and the others maximize their prime. Sometimes it means taking a back seat, sometimes it means taking over a game. All season long, Poole has found that balance, and if he can during the playoffs, the Warriors will be tough for anyone to beat.
