According to reports, the Phoenix Suns and the Miami Heat are Kevin Durant's preferred destinations now that he's requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. If you ask Kendrick Perkins, though, he believes that KD should seriously consider a reunion with Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

According to Big Perk, he would love to see a scenario wherein the Warriors somehow agree to find a deal with the Nets that will see Durant make his way back to Golden State after a two-year hiatus:

“I like drama, too,” Perkins said on ESPN's Free Agency Special, via ClutchPoints on Twitter. “I'm going with Golden State. They will run it back. If they can find a way to do some type of trade that involves Andrew Wiggins and bring Kevin Durant back, I would love to see it.”

While this may sound ridiculous at first, there's also no denying that this notion does have a bit of merit. Durant shocked the basketball world when he decided to team up with Curry and Co. in Golden State a few years ago, so what's stopping him from doing the same thing right now?

As Perkins suggested, the Warriors have a real asset in Andrew Wiggins, who emerged as a bona fide star for them this past season. If the Dubs are willing to send him to Brooklyn along with a few more pieces, then a deal might actually work.

Richard Jefferson posed a legitimate question, though: do the Warriors even want KD back?
