Golden State Warriors superstar small forward Kevin Durant says Game 5 was a “perfect storm” for the Los Angeles Clippers, who won at Oracle Arena for the second time to extend the series to a Game 6.
Durant says the Warriors came out too relaxed, and the Clippers took advantage of it by making shots and playing with more energy:
Kevin Durant: “Let’s just be real, it was a perfect storm for the Clippers last game. We came out with shitty energy at the start. I mean, I wouldn’t say shitty, but a little bit relaxed than the two games before.” pic.twitter.com/bfTpHt8F0g

The Warriors lost Game 5 by a final score of 129-121. The Clippers outscored the Dubs 34-22 in the second quarter and were able to withstand a stellar performance from Durant, who scored 45 points in roughly 41 minutes.
Game 6 is on Friday in Los Angeles. The Warriors won Games 3 and 4 at Staples Center. Golden State sometimes needs to be punched in the mouth since it has played in four straight NBA Finals and won three of them. It wouldn't surprise anyone if the Warriors won Game 6 in blowout fashion.
The Dubs need to contain Clippers guard Lou Williams and big man Montrezl Harrell. Williams put up 33 points and 10 assists in Game 5, while Harrell finished with 24 points and five rebounds. If the Warriors can stop those two from going off, they should easily win Game 6, as the Clippers don't have enough fire power on the roster outside of Williams and Harrell.
