Game 6 Klay Thompson made an epic appearance on Friday night as he led the Golden State Warriors to a 110-96 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The pressure was on the Warriors star to live up to his reputation for Game 6 matchups and impressively, Thompson delivered yet again.
After dropping a game-high 30 points (tied with Dillon Brooks) on eight triples, the Warriors star came out with an epic post on Instagram channeling the great Kanye West (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):
Jackson.
Tyson.
Jordan.

For those that require context, Thompson's post is in reference to West's rap hit, Niggas in Paris, which also features fellow hip-hop icon Jay-Z. Part of the song lyrics goes, “Psycho, I'm liable to go Michael, take your pick — Jackson, Tyson, Jordan, Game 6.” Honestly, I can't help but not sing/rap the lyrics while reading it.
In the song, Kanye was referencing Michael Jordan's historic Game 6 performance against the Utah Jazz in the 1998 NBA Finals wherein he drained the championship-winning shot to secure his sixth title with the Chicago Bulls.
Well, Klay Thompson has taken his Game 6 reputation to a whole new level following his mind-blowing performance on Friday night for the Warriors. Let's just hope he keeps it going the rest of the way.
