Stephen Curry is the only point guard Klay Thompson knows of, and the Golden State Warriors want to make sure it's always like that.

Together, Thompson and Curry have established themselves as the best shooting backcourt in NBA history. Thompson says Curry is “such a selfless, amazing competitor and teammate.” The Warriors All-Star shooting guard “couldn't imagine” playing with a point guard other than Curry.

Thompson and Curry are trying to win their fourth title together with the Warriors. You would think the two sharpshooters would let their egos get in the way of the team success and fight for more shots on offense, but that's never happened with Klay and Steph.

The Warriors' offense is predicated on ball movement and off-ball screens. Thompson and Curry have flourished in this system and will be first-ballot Hall of Famers one day. You don't get the nickname “Splash Brothers” without being an elite backcourt. Both Thompson and Curry have set NBA records for shooting. Each time that happens, both players are rooting for each other and actively looking to get the ball to the other guy so they can continue to dominate.

It's been fun to watch the duo develop their relationship over the past few seasons, both on and off the court. No matter what happens in the NBA Finals, it's likely Curry and Thompson will continue playing together for years to come. The latter is a free agent this summer, but all signs point to Klay re-signing with Golden State on a multi-year max deal.
