Even with only one good leg, Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson looks like he can still knock down some jump shots.

Wandering onto the court during Sunday's pregame warmups, the injured Thompson fired up a couple of midrange shots prior to the start of the Warriors' match against the Utah Jazz. While making sure to lift his ailing right leg so as to avoid putting any pressure on it, the sidelined Splash Brother still retained the picture-perfect form that made him such a feared threat from behind the arc.

Originally tearing his Achilles during an offseason workout in Southern California, Thompson's injury, along with a previous tear to his ACL,  meant that the sharpshooting guard would have miss at least two full seasons of NBA action during what would otherwise be the prime of his career. With most Achilles tears requiring a minimum of six to seven months to heal and rehabilitate, the Warriors have been vocal about their hope that the guard will be ready to return to action by the beginning of the 2021-22 season.

While the team has continued to be competitive thanks to Kelly Oubre Jr. and James Wiseman's offseason additions, along with the return of Stephen Curry from his own injury concerns, Golden State has clearly missed the production of their backcourt player. Though he is known for his prodigious shooting ability, Thompson's absence on the defensive side of things has most hampered the Warriors' progress, with the team ranking 20th in points allowed.

For a team eager to reclaim its spot in the league's upper echelon, Klay Thompson can't return quick enough.
