Part of the Golden State Warriors' success comes from the bond shared between stars Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. After practice Tuesday morning, Thompson had some high praises for his teammate and friend Green.
“Draymond is one of the greatest steals in NBA history and someone who will be immortalized through this franchise,” Thompson told ClutchPoints.
Green was drafted by the Warriors in 2012. He was selected in the second round as the 35th pick. Many players who are drafted in the second round don't last in the NBA long, but he isn't one of them.
The former Michigan State standout is in his 10th season with the Warriors. He has won three championships, made the All-Star team four times, and won Defensive Player of the Year. No. 23 is putting together a Hall of Fame career.

Green was a huge part of the Warriors' championship runs and a decade later, he still is. When you mention Curry or Thompson, you have to mention Green.
The Warriors' Big 3 might be the most loved athletes in the Bay Area. The way they have represented the community on and off the court has been first-class. They are the epitome of what the NBA wants for all of their teams.
Draymond Green is often referred to as the heart and soul of the team. Many around the league might question Green’s greatness, but when it comes to the Bay Area, they believe he is a living legend. As what Klay Thompson said, that's why he will be immortalized forever.
