Many athletes have taken to social media to celebrate the victory of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris. In such nature, Golden State Warriors talent Klay Thompson has also given his take on the election, giving praise to Harris via his Instagram.

The Warriors sharpshooter posted a rather admiring caption next to a graphic that demonstrates an overcoming of generations.

Even so, the United States saw its biggest voter turnout in history this time around, with Biden winning the popular vote by a decent margin.

As for Harris, she becomes the first African-American female with South Asian decent to become vice president. With Harris taking the fold, it'll surely unlock the blockades for future minorities in the nation, which is an accomplishment that is highly regarded.

For President Donald Trump, his relationship with NBA players had hit an impasse after his many mockeries of the league along with his often feuds with LeBron James. A multitude of athletes have taken notice to Trump's ill-advised rants during the year, which prompted many players to use their platforms during the Disney bubble to inform fans on the importance of voting in this presidential election.

His defeat came as wonderful news to most players, with Klay Thompson's Warriors teammate Draymond Green immediately tweeting to James on how he and the Los Angeles Lakers could actually visit the White House again.
