San Francisco, CA – The Brooklyn Nets were in town to face Klay Thomspon and the Golden State Warriors, giving the home team everything they had. Kyrie Irving had a tremendous game and scored a game-high 32 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome Thompson's late-game heroics.

The Warriors were holding on to a one-point lead with about 15 seconds left in the game when Thompson made the biggest shot of his young season.

“It felt amazing,” returned Warriors superstar Klay Thompson told Clutch Points. “It really did… I miss that feeling. So, it felt absolutely amazing.”

It was a rough night for the Warriors star, he was 1-of-7 before taking and making that shot, but when his team needed him most he hit the dagger that gave them the lead for good. The crowd was electrified and the Nets were forced to call a timeout.

It was a postseason atmosphere. If you think the Warriors superstar missed these high-pressure moments you were correct.

“Oh yes. Big time. It's been a feeling that I haven’t had in a couple of years,” Thompson said. “When you make big shots or stops down the stretch, it's going to do wonders for your confidence.”

The three-time champion is working his way back into game shape after being away from the court for two full seasons. Thompson hasn't shot the ball at a high percentage yet, but this basket could be the one to make him feel like his old self again, and that can mean trouble for the rest of the NBA.
