Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson has provided a timely update on his current road to recovery, and fans will all be glad to know that the 30-year-old shooting guard is raring to go at this stage of his rehab.

Thompson gave the update in a recent promotional video for shoe sponsor Anta, which is expected to release the latest pair in Klay's signature shoe line this week.

As he said in the video, it has been a tough past year for him recovering from the ACL injury he suffered in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors. He was unable to suit up for the Warriors  throughout the 2019-20 campaign, but the moral support provided by his family and friends has been pivotal in his journey.

At this point, Klay Thompson is expected to be fully ready for the upcoming 2020-21 season. The shift in the start date of the new campaign — whenever the NBA decides it — has worked in the favor of the five-time All-Star. It has provided the sharpshooter with more time to heal and prepare for what should be a resurgent season not only for him, but also for the Warriors.

Golden State entered the season hiatus with the worst season in the NBA. Injuries have obviously played a huge role in their terrible performance this term, but with so much to look forward to on the horizon (including a high lottery pick in the coming draft), all signs seem to be pointing up for the Warriors.
