The Golden State Warriors are the hottest team in the NBA, and they are on a league-best nine-game winning streak. The Dubs also hold the second-best overall record in the league at 41-13, and there hasn't been one single game played at full strength.
Every game this season has been played without at least one of their star players, and Klay Thompson believes that could mean something special.
“It's a great sign,” Thompson told ClutchPoints. “It gives me chills thinking about how good we can be full strength. We got Belly (Nemanja Bjelica) at home. Wise (James Wiseman) is still rehabbing and our All-Star Draymond is not here, it's extremely exciting.”
It gives the rest of the NBA a lot of chills too!

This season many expected the Warriors to be a promising team, but nobody expected them to be this good without being fully staffed. The emergence of Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins elevating his game to an All-Star level has been huge in their success. Before Thompson returned to the court, both players were averaging around 18 points per game.

Now that Poole has moved to the second unit, he's fitting his new role like a glove, and even though Thompson is ramping up his minutes every night, Wiggins is still playing at a high level. Then there's Stephen Curry, who is finally getting out of the worst shooting slump of his career.
All the Dubs need now is their final two pieces to be a complete team, All-Star Draymond Green and last season's No. 2 pick James Wiseman. Once they all can get on the floor together for the first time, we can really see what this team is made of.
