SAN FRANCISCO â Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green announced his return date earlier this week. The highly anticipated night will be Monday, March 14, against the Washington Wizards. Green hasn't stepped on an NBA court since Jan. 9, the night Klay Thompson made his return.
The two only shared the floor for seconds to start the game. Green fouled the ball handler immediately and left the game. Green was already dealing with an injury but didn't want to miss Thompson's first game back after missing two-plus seasons. Now the Warriors teammates have switched sides, and No. 11 waits for Green.

âIâm so excited. I havenât been on the floor with Dray in some years,â Thompson told ClutchPoints. âI love competing with Draymond. He brings us to another level and we dearly miss him out there. Iâm just so grateful heâs coming back. Weâre not the same, obviously, without him.â

Once Green returns, the play of the entire team will immediately elevate. Even if he isn't 100 percent, the All-Star will positively impact both ends of the floor. His arrival is coming at a time the Warriors desperately need him as they scuffle along, winners of just three out of their last 10 games.
There is only one more game until we see Green back on the court, and it will be against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. Then the moment Warriors fans have waited for will then finally arrive: the Big 3 of Thompson, Curry, and Green will be back together again.
