San Francisco, CA – The Golden State Warriors get their man back Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Klay Thompson hasn't played for the Warriors since the 2019 NBA Finals. Now he's back, and since he started practicing with the team, he's been giving the opposing squad hell.
Juan Toscano-Anderson hasn't played with Thompson yet. But he caught a glimpse of what he's capable of in practice not too long ago.
“We scrimmaged one time and he ran off 12 points in 43 seconds. This was a few weeks ago, and the opposing team called a timeout. I looked at the clock and 43 seconds had gone by and I said Damn, we got two guys who can do this,” Warriors youngster Juan Toscano-Anderson told ClutchPoints.
It will be Thompsons' first game inside of the Chase Center. The second he steps on the court everyone will have their cameras ready to catch the moment. When he makes his first basket the crowd is going to erupt and, hopefully, he gives the fans a similar experience that Toscano-Anderson witnessed in practice.
