The basketball world is buzzing over the long-awaited return of Klay Thompson. It wasn't just Golden State Warriors fans that were excited – NBA stars were just as hyped to see him reunite with Splash Brother Stephen Curry.
Even hours before his season debut against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday, a certain LeBron James was pretty hyped about the return. His Lakers game overlapped with the Warriors' contest time slot, which is probably why he brought out his fax machines early to get hyped for Klay.

It's too bad King James missed Klay Thompson throw down a massive poster for just his second bucket of the game. But some of his other NBA peers didn't miss Klay's first dunk that had the Warriors bench, including Stephen Curry, in a frenzy.

Highlight dunk aside, a handful seemed content enough just to see the Warriors star back in action. A few of his Western Conference rivals in Jamal Murray, Donovan Mitchell, and Rudy Gobert expressed as much on Twitter.

The brotherhood that is the NBA was on full display for Klay Thompson's debut, as the list of well-wishes goes on and on for the 3-time Warriors champion.

Klay Thompson finished the contest with 17 points on 7-for-18 shooting from the field and 3-for-8 from the three-point line to go along with three rebounds and one assist. Not a bad start for a guy who's been out of commission for more than two years.
Once Klay finally gets going on all cylinders, the Golden State Warriors will be terrifying for the rest of the league. But for now, everyone's just happy he's back.
