During Wednesday's game, Golden State Warriors rookie Moses Moody abruptly exited the contest with a right shoulder injury. He left the game and didn't return for the rest of the night.

The Warriors never released details about the injury, but Saturday morning after practice, Moody spoke with the media about the issue for the first time.

“I'm feeling good. I'm ready to go. It's (shoulder) building its strength back up for whenever they clear me to play,” Moody shared.

Moody may play Sunday, so Steve Kerr is calling it day-by-day. The rookie also gave a little detail about his recently injured shoulder.

“It happened in summer league one time, but I just tweaked my shoulder a little bit,” Moody added.

Although he didn't practice with the team Saturday, he was able to get a workout in and take some shots. “I feel like I'm good to do anything,” the Warriors rookie shared.

Moses Moody responded to every question with an upbeat tone. He is very optimistic about the situation, but when it comes to a return, he's still uncertain.

“I honestly don't know it's up to the training staff about tomorrow,” he told reporters. “But if they clear me to play tomorrow, I'm good to play.”

The bad news is piling up for the Warriors. They lost Moody and Stephen Curry in the same game. Then Saturday, the team announced James Wiseman is no longer practicing because of swelling in the knee.

Fortunately, Moody’s update isn't too bad. As long as he continues to progress, he could be back on the court sooner than later.
