Sacramento, CA – As a rookie, everything you do is a first. There's your first game, your first point, or your first turnover. Golden State Warriors' first-round NBA Draft pick Moses Moody experienced his first pro dunk in his summer league debut.
When asked about it in his postgame interview, he gave a hilarious response.
“It felt pretty good. Just to get up there and hang on the rim a little bit without getting a tech. It felt good,” Moses Moody explained ClutchPoints.
The play came with an offensive rebound he gobbled up. One dribble and a step through equaled Moody's first NBA dunk. He screamed as he slammed the ball home, then ran back on defense without over-celebrating. When asked if he would have received a technical in college, the Warriors talent quickly responded.

“Most definitely. I pulled up and everything. I definitely would have got one.” Warriors rookie Moses Moody said with a smile.
The 19-year-old rookie had an impressive debut on Wednesday night. He scored 19 points and knocked down two of his four three-point attempts along with seven rebounds. Moody shot 7/18 from the field, which equals 39%. Although his percentage doesn't reflect it, he had a pretty good night shooting the ball. Moody knocked down open shots, and that's the main thing he needs to do.
